Dr. Jordan Hughes

Dr. Jordan Hughes is a Doctor of Audiology and the owner of Hughes Holistic Audiology in Zionsville. She grew up in Fort Wayne and completed both degrees at Ball State University, earning a bachelor's in speech language pathology and audiology in 2016 and her doctorate in audiology in 2020.

Before opening her own practice, she worked at Midwest Ear Institute alongside a highly respected neurotologist, treating patients with very complex hearing losses. That setting shaped the clinical standard she holds now: thorough diagnostics, Real Ear Measurement verification on every hearing aid fitting, and enough appointment time to explain what the results actually mean.

Her son was born with bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. Even after years of working with hearing loss every day, receiving that diagnosis as a parent was hard to hear, and sitting on the other side of the chair changed how she understands what patients feel when they get news like that. She carries that perspective into every appointment.

Whole-body health drives how she practices. A collegiate cross country and track athlete who still trains regularly, Dr. Hughes has never seen hearing as separable from the rest of a person's health. Beyond diagnosing and treating hearing loss, she wants to know how a patient is doing across the rest of their life, and refers to other providers when something outside audiology deserves attention. That is why Holistic is in the practice name.

She and her husband have lived in the Indianapolis area since 2020 and moved to Zionsville for the community and charm of the town. They have two young children. Outside the clinic she is usually outdoors, traveling, seeing family, working out, or midway through a house project.
