Your visit at Hughes Holistic Audiology runs about an hour with Dr. Jordan Hughes, Au.D., who owns the practice and sees every patient herself. She reviews your hearing history, completes a full evaluation, and explains your audiogram in plain language the same day. Nothing is rushed and nothing gets sold to you.

Arriving 15 minutes early to finish your intake forms keeps the appointment on schedule and gives you a few quiet minutes to settle in first. Appointments are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the office closed for lunch between noon and 1:00 PM.

A small number of insurance plans do require one before they will treat the visit as a covered benefit, so a quick call to your carrier is worth it if coverage matters to you.
If your primary care physician or an ENT has already sent you our way, bring the referral paperwork and any recent records along. Starting with the full clinical picture saves a step, particularly when there is a medical history behind the hearing change.

If something in the results points outside audiology, you get a clear referral to the right provider instead of a shrug. Should you go ahead with hearing aids, the fitting includes Real Ear Measurement verification and a 45-day trial period, and the follow-up care afterward comes from the same audiologist who tested you.
